Languages and Literature have been my passion since an early age. From 2008 to present, I've worked as a freelance translator, editor and proofreader, working mainly with creative content. Hi, my name is Andrés and I am a professional translator. I hold a BA in Translation and Interpreting from the Central University of Venezuela and an AD in Computer Programming from Belgrano University. I started my journey as a freelancer back in 2012, and since then I have been collaborating with agencies and direct clients mostly from the US and Europe. My native language is Spanish from Venezuela, but most of my work has been focused on US and neutral Spanish and targeted to US and Latin American audiences. My main field of expertise is information technology, although I have also been involved in many projects related to other fields, mostly human resources and health care. Besides, in early 2020 I started to take my first baby steps as a freelance full-stack web developer, which has allowed me to gain hands-on experience in my field of expertise.

I have been studying the English language for 20 years and my level is C1 (certified). I am available to accept jobs from 8:00 am (GMT -3) until 10:00 pm (GMT -3) during the week.
