I'm an Italian freelancer with a huge experience in translation, localization, proofreading, transcription and subtitling. I translate from English, French and German into Italian. I'm specialized in e-commerce, tourism, culture and technical field.

As an English to Italian ProZ.com Certified PRO Network gaming, technical, and marketing translator (EN 15038) and Italian native speaker, I have been translating on a volunteer basis since 2012 (working on big projects since 2016) and professionally since 2020. I have experience in handling localization processes as a whole for text-heavy video games, as a translator (transcreation, proofreading, photo editing), LQE specialist, LQA tester, and localization project manager (file preparation, regex tagging, developer relations). 2,500,000 words translated, with a daily output of 4,500 words.

I’m a translator working from English, German and French into Italian. I graduated from the Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators in Florence where I got a University Diploma (1998) EN>IT - DE>IT. I began to work as foreign language expert and manager assistant for an international architect in Florence (1999-2002). After a couple of years, I joined a buying office (2002-2006 ) - dealing with the fashion industry, first as a translator, and then, as a production and logistics coordinator. I'm a freelance translator since 2007. I'm a TAUS certified Post Editor, Quality Manager and Transcreator. My fields of specialization are Marketing and Web Marketing, Media and Communication, Cryptocurrencies, Clothing and Healthcare. I also cooperate with a local web agency in charge of translating and localizing websites.

Graduate in Linguistics at the Masters and Doctoral level, I have been working on several projects in diverse fields, ranging from marketing to sociology, from politics to IT. I am still relatively new on this platform, but I am starting this new professional adventure with passion and enthusiasm.

I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari. I graduated with the highest grade (110 e lode) and started my specialisation at the University of Turin (a Translation course focusing on literary translation). I'm a linguistics-enthusiast italian guy who completed his bachelor degree in translation at the University of Genoa, Italy. The languages I have studied are English and Russian, but I can also speak a little Spanish and a little Polish. I truly love experiencing and analyzing foreign cultures, reason why I have spent a considerable amount of time abroad considering my young age: I have lived in Russia for 1 month, in Poland for 5 months and in Australia for 15 months.
