Salut ! I'm Massa, a true bilingual French Translator with close to 5 years of experience in translation, interpretation, linguistic testing and transcription. Most of my career was done in India, between freelancing work from home to medium and long term projects on client premises. I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I did all my elementary and secondary education in French and all my university (first and second cycles) in English.

Additionally to the classes about electro-technics, fabrication processes in the automobile industry and nanotechnologies I took while I was studying conference interpreting at the University of Saarland, I have work experience as in-house translator in a technical translation agency and an e-commerce company that offers a wide variety of professional products - from deep fryers and refrigerators to tools and massage tables. Furthermore, I am very interested in renewable energies, environment protection, electric vehicles, food and drinks, and video games. Up to now, I have mostly translated product description, CRM messages, marketing content and user's manuals. I believe that a good translation is easy to read and feels natural in the target language.
