I've been in translations/linguistics since 1997, millions of words, vast experience, a great lot of fields, I've worked for Google, Airbnb, governments (local and states), just name it. I'm fond of languages. I can speak English (of course), French, Russian, some German, Norwegian, Chinese and even Ukrainian. I've studied Icelandic and am familiar with Norwegian, Swedish, Danish and Faroese. Localization/CAT tools: starting from routine tasks such as bilingual files prep and post-processing and ending with deployment of custom-tailored translation memory servers using SVN or GIT technologies. Briefly, I love everything related to languages.

I've been a freelance translator since 2008, mainly specializing in technical translations between Danish and English along with previously dabbling in Chinese, Spanish and Scandinavian languages.   Through my work as a system administrator and personal life, I've gained intricate knowledge of the presentation of English in a wide array of subjects, especially user-interfaces and terminology. I strive towards an ever-increasing accuracy and consistent quality in my work.   In my past, I've been working on multiple long-term projects with major companies around the world. Previously full time professional but now full time teacher, who enjoys keeping the skillset alive with the occasional assignment

I've been born to German-speaking Austrian parents but was raised in English-speaking Canada. Due to this fact and to the fact that I competed my Master's in Austria, I am fluent in both languages and am fond of translating from German into English. Since 2000, when I started my translator's career, I've managed to translate millions of words in a great range of fields, from fiction to medicine.

Been speaking both English and Danish since birth. My education in Digital Design has 50/50 on writing and reading both languages, so even though I have nothing to show for my skills yet, they have been enough to bring me through a Masters degree.
