Hello everybody! My name is Braj. I am working as a freelance translator for the last seven years. Over the years, I have translated a variety of texts in all the major fields, such as medical, technical and legal texts, literary texts, tourist information, web pages, and advertising leaflets. However, my preferred subjects are legal translations, tourism & leisure industry and sales & marketing. My translations are 100% handmade, which means that I never use machine-translation programs, only the best translators tools existing on the market, such as MemoQ and SDL Trados, for the simple reason of saving time in order to deliver the commissioned work in the record time. I came a little late to translating... I spent a few years trying out different careers. I worked as a legal assistant, a bookkeeper, an office manager, an HR representative, even a restaurant manager... all before I found my calling. While I sometimes wish I had gotten into translation sooner, I'm thankful that I was able to experience such a wide variety of positions.
