I am a languages student from Northern Ireland, studying Spanish and Portuguese. I may not be fully qualified, but I am now looking to fill my time with more translation due to the fact that I had to return home during my Erasmus year due to the COVID-19 outbreak. I still am continuing with my classes from my host university (Porto, in Portugal) and am currently studying a translation module so I am familiar with CAT software and the proper protocol for translation.

Due to this fact and to the fact that I competed my Master's in Austria, I am fluent in both languages and am fond of translating from German into English. In 2010 I spent the Winter-Spring semester traveling throughout Argentina and homeschooling my then 3rd grade son and 7th grade daughter. Also in 2010, I began a summer language immersion program, True Immersion, LLC, in Sevilla, Spain for American teens - which continues today. I am highly proficient in Italian - primarily self-taught - but have also studied at the Lorenzo de Medici and Centro Firenze language schools in Florence over the last 14 years.
