Hi, I am from India. I have been working as a freelance translator for the last six years. I have also worked as a German language specialist in a legal firm. I use SDL Trados for translation and I can translate approx. 3500-4000 words per day. Maintaining quality and meeting deadlines are equally essential for me. I am a very experienced German, Spanish and French-speaking translator, localiser, proof-reader and editor of written texts from a wide variety of areas from those languages into English. I also have some experience in translating from English into German. I produce reliable and high-quality work within the fields of energy, industrial manufacturing, marketing, market research, sales, the environment, and also automotive, electrical, machine and plant engineering. To expand my skills and knowledge, I lived in France, Germany, Poland and Spain for a total of approximately 7 years. Moreover, I am also an excellent communicator (spoken and written) and administrator, and work confidently, sociably and politely in teams and on my own initiative, while multitasking and keeping to schedules. I am a languages student from Northern Ireland, studying Spanish and Portuguese. I may not be fully qualified, but I am now looking to fill my time with more translation due to the fact that I had to return home during my Erasmus year due to the COVID-19 outbreak. I still am continuing with my classes from my host university (Porto, in Portugal) and am currently studying a translation module so I am familiar with CAT software and the proper protocol for translation.

I've been born to German-speaking Austrian parents but was raised in English-speaking Canada. Due to this fact and to the fact that I competed my Master's in Austria, I am fluent in both languages and am fond of translating from German into English. Since 2000, when I started my translator's career, I've managed to translate millions of words in a great range of fields, from fiction to medicine.
