WHO I AM: Bilingual since birth I have always had an immence interest in two things: Music and Languages. Throughout my life i had many opportunities and demands to perform translation tasks on a personal and a professional level as well as privatly teaching languages. My translation experience spanns from simple e-meil and daily communications translations to academic translations. While bieng a professional composer i have gained great skill of holding myself to the deadline and demanding the highest standard of work. I am resoursful and an exceptionally quick learner, so no job would be too tough. MY LANGUAGES: Native: English, Russian. Aquired: Swedish (fluent), German (working proficiency), Finnish (working proficiency). Originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan (Russian speaking), I have lived in the United States since 1996. I graduated high school in Midland, Texas, then received my first bachelors degree from Central Texas College, majoring in Computer Science. After several years, I went back to school to major in International Studies at the University of California in San Diego. Passionate for languages and cultural learning, I have lived and studied in Morelia, Mexico and Barcelona, Spain. I have worked as a freelance translator and localization expert since 2009 and have great knowledge in mobile game and app localization. Other projects throughout the years have included fiction, history and biography books, articles, and legal documents. I translate Russian to English myself and run a team of ten other translators, who work in most popular European and Asian languages. Every member of the team is a native speaker of the language he/she works in.
