I have been working as a freelance interpreter and translator for 20 years now. Mediation between cultures and business partners is my passion. I love to discover new terminologies and venues. I always try to find the best linguistic solutions and respect deadlines. I am looking forward to our cooperation.
I started to work in the translation business in 1990. I did work on the localization of WordPerfect, Windows '95 and also Scala, Oracle, Citroën, SAP, APC and many other translation/localization projects. I have also worked for Hungarian ministries and financial institutions, and I was involved in the translation of many EU-related documents (tender specifications and application forms), business contracts, financial statements (Balance Sheets, ProfitLoss Statements, Audit Reports etc.) as well as operating and maintenance manuals of various equipment, Civil Engineering specifications, software descriptions, application documentation for medicines etc.
I am a freelance translator with experience in written translation and interpretation. As a full-time translator, I work with complex cognitive processes, which involve decoding linguistic and extralinguistic elements in a given source language and "redressing" them with linguistic and cultural meaning in a given target language, in order to produce a text that reads as if originally written in that language.
