I am a Spanish cabin crew with extensive experience interacting with foreign people of all over the world, as a native Spanish speaker I translate from English to Spanish. I have cooperated with a translation agency named Abroads Traducciones, translating different types of documents ( academics, legal...).

As an immigrant in the USA I have experienced first hand the challenges of language barriers, and my passion for languages and desire to help my community motivated me to learn more about language services. I have worked with educational, religious entities and businesses to address the disconnection between them and their Spanish speaking audience. I have a Bachelors degree in Spanish from Utah Valley University and I have been involved in translation and interpretation for the last 14 years. I am a qualified freelance sworn translator with more than 10 years of experience. I have a degree in Translation and Interpreting (Universidad de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria), and I am currently completing an MA in Audiovisual Translation (Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona) and another in Institutional Translation (Universidad de Alicante). I specialise in audiovisual, legal and marketing translation, as well as in video game localisation, and I am comfortable using a wide range of industry-standard CAT tools. My daily output is around 2,500-3,000 words.

As a Philosophy student I focused in the field of Linguistics, which during college I combined with my passion for learning foreign languages: French and Russian, as well as perfecting my English. My interest in language and logic has led me to specialize also in modern fields such as software development translations, gaming localization, AI input/output editing, etc. After college I started learning Arabic language, also combined with my job as an editorial coordinator for institutionalized magazines belonging to professionals' associations of engineers and industrial chambers.

I'm a dedicated professional with over 10 years of experience in foreign language teaching (English, French, Italian and Spanish) as well as translation, editing and proofreading. I also train teachers-to-be in writing, discourse analysis, academic writing and phonology. I'm detail-oriented and passionate about reading and writing.

I am a translator currently living in Mexico City. I might not have too much professional experience, however, since the beginning of my education, I have tried to attend as many workshops, courses and forums regarding subjects such as legal, engineering, pharmaceutical, tourism and video game translation.
