I am a professional translator since 2012. I grew up in France in a Spanish family, so I learned very early both languages. I studied law in France and Spain so I can translate to both languages. I am a sworn translator before the Tribunal Judiciaire of Perpignan and often perform translations and interpretations for this institution in the legal field (hearings, confrontations, reports, court decisions etc ..) I translate websites, contracts, business presentations, products descriptions, medical records etc ....

I am a qualified Spanish language specialist from Spain with 9 years of experience. I am a member of Asetrad and UniCo. I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting (2009) and a postgraduate degree in Spanish Proofreading, Copyediting and Language Consulting (2018). During my degree I spent one year in Geneva. After graduating, I spent two years in Paris, where I first worked as a project manager and later as a web content editor and translator while I started freelancing. I then returned to Spain, where I worked as an in-house project manager, translator and reviser for several companies until I decided to become a full-time freelancer. I am a freelance writer, translator, and proofreader, dedicated to building bridges between different cultures through words. I am extremely detail-oriented with an eye to catch inaccurate copy or find the best term, always a learner (although I've been +15 years working with words), and a hard worker. My clients can always expect empathy (I’ll work hard to understand them and their needs) and dedication from me.

I enjoy translation for many reasons. I have always had an interest in foreign languages and cultures, so it is a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to work with them. I also find the process of researching a subject to ensure a solid translation to be particularly satisfying, as well as investigating the expressive possibilities of my target language, an aspect of the translation process that is often overlooked and yet an important element of the quality of the final product. I have experience using tools such as Trados or Memsource, as well as the various reliable reference sources for each language (DIEC; Treccani; RAE; Τριανταφυλλίδη...). The type of translation that most attracts my attention is literary, although I have extensive demonstrable experience in the field of technical translation (recent projects being for the nautical and stone industry).
