I have a University Degree in Spanish Language and Literature from University of Buenos Aires and over the past 15 years I have been providing my translation and proofreading services to different agencies and clients. I have become increasingly specialized in a the areas of Literature, Education (mathematical and literary translations) and Technical (machine manuals and user guides).

I am a translator currently living in Mexico City. I might not have too much professional experience, however, since the beginning of my education, I have tried to attend as many workshops, courses and forums regarding subjects such as legal, engineering, pharmaceutical, tourism and video game translation. As a Philosophy student I focused in the field of Linguistics, which during college I combined with my passion for learning foreign languages: French and Russian, as well as perfecting my English. My interest in language and logic has led me to specialize also in modern fields such as software development translations, gaming localization, AI input/output editing, etc. After college I started learning Arabic language, also combined with my job as an editorial coordinator for institutionalized magazines belonging to professionals' associations of engineers and industrial chambers.

I'm a language lover who has been translating as a freelancer for 10+ years on various subjects and in several language pairs. I am detail-oriented and will always deliver within deadlines. I have technical and business-related knowledge and experience.

I have 31 years of experience teaching and tutoring all levels of Spanish. With a Master's Degree in the Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College, VT, I consider myself to be a grammar expert, in addition to being fluent in the language. I had study abroad experiences in Mexico prior to living in Madrid during graduate school. In 2010 I spent the Winter-Spring semester traveling throughout Argentina and homeschooling my then 3rd grade son and 7th grade daughter. Also in 2010, I began a summer language immersion program, True Immersion, LLC, in Sevilla, Spain for American teens - which continues today. I am highly proficient in Italian - primarily self-taught - but have also studied at the Lorenzo de Medici and Centro Firenze language schools in Florence over the last 14 years. From 2006-2011 I participated in an Italian Book Club hosted by a native instructor from Virginia Commonwealth University. I love the work of translating and look forward to helping you!
