I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. That comes, of course, from having a genuine interest in Languages and Translation since I was a child and constant curiosity in researching different topics. I provide translation, retroversion, proofreading, transcription, and captioning services in general and specialized domains with appropriate technical resources. My name is Raúl Guerrero, and I am a full-time certified freelance translator / interpreter with degrees from US universities and 18 years of experience. I focus on quality, quick delivery, and accuracy. My native language is Spanish, and I studied in the US for approximately 7 years obtaining my high school diploma, a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University (Ames, IA, USA), and an MBA from Tiffin University (Tiffin, OH, USA). I enjoy translation for many reasons. I have always had an interest in foreign languages and cultures, so it is a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to work with them. I also find the process of researching a subject to ensure a solid translation to be particularly satisfying, as well as investigating the expressive possibilities of my target language, an aspect of the translation process that is often overlooked and yet an important element of the quality of the final product.
