I have started translating in 1997, as part of my duties for an ISO 9000- QS 9000- ISO 14000 training and consulting agency. That job provided me with wide and practical experience in many areas, until I could leave the on-site job and start as a freelancer.

Since I was on college I had a strong passion for linguistics and the proccess of how language is acquired. Perfectioning my english and forming reading circles were some of the activities I put my effort on, aswell focusing my studies on a language-based therapy. As the company grew, we hired other translators, and I added to my responsibilities the proofreading of their translations. As well as my experience in health, I have worked as a freelance translator for several companies; during the last four months, I have translated more than 400,000 words.
