I am currently a 2nd year RANEPA University student. I know terminology of business english and at the time I study english in law sphere. My part time job is interpreter. From september 2022 to December 2022 I worked in foreign language school Arboris (located in Izhevsk, Russia). I conducted express courses on English grammar, phonology and reading rules. From September of 2020 to May 2021 I worked as a volunteer in Udmurt State University to help international students. My duties included: meeting international students in airport, accompanying them to a resedence, translation of documents, helping with documents, helping with settlement, helping with adaptation, conducting city tours, helping with conference translations. Since 2015 I am chief project manager at Sfera LSP (www.sfera-translating.ru). My translation career encompasses diverse areas, from movie industry (translating for Hollywood film stars (Jon Voight, Sammi Davis) to translating for roughnecks on drilling rigs in Siberia. This hands-on experience in various occupations, combined with technical background in survey & mapping, allows me to produce accurate, precise translations of even the most complicated texts. I have been working as a freelance translator since 2006, with more than 6 million words translated to date. I first started my translation career in mid 1980-ies with a few odd translation / interpretation jobs of a few months each. I then went on to work as a staff translator for the first Soviet-US JV White Nights in 1990 and continued to pursue this career with several other JVs and US companies until 2006, when I became a full-time freelance translator. Besides working as a translator during that period, I also held several other positions in procurement, logistics and administration at these companies, which subsequently proved to be a valuable source of knowledge for my work as an independent translator after 2006.

I have been working for governmental organizations in Armenia for more than 10 years, translating political texts for official websites, as well as offical documents and notes. I am fluent in political lexicology at the same time being really interested in other spheres as well such as business, management, marketing, IT, economics, finances and many others.

I have had experience in translating legal/medical/business documents. I am currently translating a fiction novel in my spare time. I have also had experience in teaching both languages for over four years. As a result, I understand the grammar structures of both languages well.
