I am a freelancing editor/translator for some of the Russian translating firms. I am mostly interested in editing in pairs EN-RU, RU-EN, but will also consider translation assignments in pairs EN-RU, RU-EN.

I have been a professional translator for over ten years of my life, and am very familiar with different wordings and vocabulary. I am a bilingual Ukrainian-Russian speaker with a long translator/teaching career.

Originally from Almaty, Kazakhstan (Russian speaking), I have lived in the United States since 1996. I graduated high school in Midland, Texas, then received my first bachelors degree from Central Texas College, majoring in Computer Science. After several years, I went back to school to major in International Studies at the University of California in San Diego. Passionate for languages and cultural learning, I have lived and studied in Morelia, Mexico and Barcelona, Spain. I have worked as a freelance translator and localization expert since 2009 and have great knowledge in mobile game and app localization. Other projects throughout the years have included fiction, history and biography books, articles, and legal documents. I translate Russian to English myself and run a team of ten other translators, who work in most popular European and Asian languages. Every member of the team is a native speaker of the language he/she works in.

Foreign languages are my passion. I also know German on the B1 level. Hello, I'm a Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Civil Engineering at Aalto University, Finland. Within my 4-year research career, I, together with my colleagues, have successfully published several international-level scientific papers and presented our research achievements at sever conferences. As a part of my main tasks, I am also performing data and image analysis with R script and Python. The major of my Master's studies was Civil Engineering. Therefore, I also have working experience in the Structural Engineering Company. I am skilled in Autocad, Revit, and Tekla. The passion for art led me to the art school that I have successfully finished. Nowadays, I still proceed to draw and create jewelry at home. I am also using Photoshop and illustrator daily.
