Hi! I graduated from the Kyiv National Linguistic University with a specialization in Chinese and English Translation (a Master's degree). My native languages are Russian and Ukrainian. Foreign languages are my passion. I also know German on the B1 level. I then went on to work as a staff translator for the first Soviet-US JV White Nights in 1990 and continued to pursue this career with several other JVs and US companies until 2006, when I became a full-time freelance translator. Besides working as a translator during that period, I also held several other positions in procurement, logistics and administration at these companies, which subsequently proved to be a valuable source of knowledge for my work as an independent translator after 2006.
