I have been working as full-time translator in various English to Brazilian Portuguese freelance projects since February 2013. During this time, I translated over 1,000,000 words in hundreds of projects for various clients, as well as proofread/edited hundreds of translations. My work experience has been focused on the education and health sectors, but I also concluded a diverse range of projects that include the translation of games, subtitles for feature films, workers' CVs, and several legal agreements and contracts.

I'm a System Engineer who loves languages and live in Brazil, I've worked as translator a few times, it's not my main profession but I certanly take care about the quality of my translations because of my love for right speaking and writing.

I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. That comes, of course, from having a genuine interest in Languages and Translation since I was a child and constant curiosity in researching different topics. I provide translation, retroversion, proofreading, transcription, and captioning services in general and specialized domains with appropriate technical resources. I would also like to add that I can handle deadlines just fine.

I started at Demand Media Studios and WikiHow back in 2013 translating do-it-yourself and general knowledge articles. Then, I moved to Upwork and Elance to try and build partnerships with some direct clients. 534 tracked hours on Upwork and 390 contracts since 2014. 549,371 words translated on Gengo, with more than 1,287 tracked hours. 7,780 words on MotaWord since 2015.
