I've started translating IT content. As a freelancer, I work mainly with IT, Games, Literature and Medical content.

I am a Brazilian native translator working with the English-Portuguese pair for the past 5 years. Before that, I’ve worked in the IT industry for over 20 years in the software sector, having ample knowledge of software development, project management, and business processes. As a translator, I have worked with texts and videos on artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual reality as well as tutorials and articles on products from big players in the industry such as Microsoft, Google, Kaspersky, and others. In the medical field, I have translated protocols for clinical trials, questionnaires, and investigator’s brochures on new drugs. I am also a volunteer translator and reviewer at TED where I work with talks on multiple subjects.

Specialist in Translation, Degree in English and Portuguese, advanced courses in Italian and Spanish. More than 10 years of experience as a language teacher and translator. I was born in Brazil, studied in England and have been living in Italy for three years.

My name is Daniela Gomes and I have been a Portuguese freelance translator and subtitler (EN-PTpt) for four years. In 2015, I finished my BA in Applied Languages and concluded my MA in Translation and Multilingual Communication early 2018. I have been working for international companies from North America and Europe translating and subtitling movies, TV shows and series for several well-known studios.
