I am an experienced translator in the market research, gaming, tourism and lifestyle fields. I have previously served as a market researcher covering food, drink, lifestyles, trends, technology, and media habits in Brazil. I also have some experience in subtitling, working as a volunteer for TED. I have lived in English speaking countries for over eight years now and I am a native Portuguese speaker. I hold a B.A. in Industrial Design, a Masters in Marketing Analysis, and a Certificate in Language Interpretation and Translation. Born in São Paulo, I always had a passion for exploring the world and learning about different cultures, which led me to live in Riverside (California, EUA), Dublin, London, and Tokyo. I graduated in Translation and Language Studies (Letras) in 2004 and also work as an English and Portuguese teacher at public schools since 2005. During this period I have been working as a freelance translator and proof-reader and, truly, that is my passion.

Having worked in several different industries in the past 10 years, acquiring knowledge of several areas of technical expertise, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, CNC programming, and general maintenance work in several countries, I now invest the knowledge I gained into translation. Over the years, as I have developed my working competence in English, I have found myself in the role of translator within companies where I was called upon to translate documents, files and even entire computer programs.
