I'm a native Portuguese translator, on the market for over 6 years. I've worked with several known companies such as Panasonic, IQ Options and TetraPak, which allowed me to solidify myself as an experienced translator on a few areas of interest. I have a communication degree, that allowed me to not only develop my writing skills, but also propelled me to gather my own network of satisfied clients. However, I'm always looking for more! Having worked in several different industries in the past 10 years, acquiring knowledge of several areas of technical expertise, including electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, CNC programming, and general maintenance work in several countries, I now invest the knowledge I gained into translation. Over the years, as I have developed my working competence in English, I have found myself in the role of translator within companies where I was called upon to translate documents, files and even entire computer programs. My experience in the various industries in which I have worked, in both English and Portuguese, provide me with the knowledge I need to carry out technical translations to a high degree of accuracy, ensuring the quality and precision is as high as possible.

My passion lies in translation, entrepreneurship and helping people. After studying business administration at London Metropolitan University, I began my career working in finance, energy and telecommunications in Maputo, Mozambique. In 2013, I founded Navitas Group Lda, a company that aimed to disrupt the stagnant translation market in Mozambique. Mainly, I want to focus on using translation to facilitate communication between individuals and companies, as well as participating in entrepreneurial endeavors that catalyze socio-economic development. I have a depth of experience working in telecommunications, energy and new business development as well as 19 years of experience of translation and intercultural communication. I am currently pursuing a Masters in Translation and Localization Project Management at the University of Maryland, thus honing my translation skills, incorporating CAT Tools, MT and project management techniques into our company workflow and service delivery.

I love translating legal documents (e.g. contracts, certificates, notarial certificates, licenses, patents, apostilles, legalizations) and other documents such as books, emails, academic transcripts, websites, and user guides.
