Hi, my name is Bartek. I'm a native speaker of Polish and fluent in English. I'm a student and in my free time I translate articles.

Over 25 years of experience in translations and interpretations, simultaneous and consecutive. I have a PhD in applied linguistics and two M.A. diplomas: in English and in Spanish philology. I work in a team of two professional, Polish, freelance, sworn translators with more than 15 years of translation practice each of us. My fortes include the following fields: law, contracts, notarial deeds, accountancy, real estate, banking, legal regulations, legal opinions, IT, user manuals for household appliances, high-tech devices and industrial machinery. I started my adventure with languages when I was 16 years old. Learning new vocabulary and translating the texts (mostly about entertainment, photography, news, games, or travel) became my favorite thing to do. Right now, after more than ten years, I still feel very passionate about languages, and I am improving my skills and learning additionally French, Spanish, Japanese, or Korean.

I am a English & German native speaker with a great passion for language. Since 2014 I have been working as English to German freelance translator. In addition to that I have also gained valuable in-house experience by working at established and well-known translation agencies occupying roles as translation checker and proof-reader as well as project manager and translator.
