I received my Bachelor's Degree in Translation and Interpretation in 2006 from Universiti Sains Malaysia. Six months after finishing my degree, I got a job in the government sector. In my eighth year I started part-timing as a freelance translator. Now, I've taken the leap in my life and resigned from the sector to be a full-time translator beginning October 2017. Reminiscing back to my childhood, I realized that I have always wanted to be in this field. In primary school, when asked about my ambition when I grow up, I clearly remember saying I wanted to be an interpreter. Even the teacher was perplexed on what kind of job it was.
