I am a freelance Software/Web Developer and English to Italian Translator. I have translated a wide range of different subjects, including fiction (mainly sci-fi novels), technical texts (mainly IT and electronics), marketing items, company policies and internal memos, websites, etc. I also have about 3 years experience in simultaneous interpretation (from English to Italian) in public events. I perfected my English while living in Florida (3 years) and in Denmark (1 year), and regularly doing translation jobs in addition to my main software/web developer job.

I speak Italian, French, English, German and Spanish - Born in Italy and raised between Italy and France. Bilingual Native Italian/French- I have been living in London and Stuttgart and I have been working as interpreter and tour guide for 10 years. I am now working as a superyacht charter broker and in my free time I am still working as interpreter / translator freelance.

I currently study Translation and Interpreting (EN/ES>IT) at the Scuola Superiore per Mediatiori Linguistici di Pisa. I have always had a great passion for languages, but it was during the high school when I realized that my passion could become my job. At that time, I understood that what made me really excited about was studying languages as a tool of communication and sharing so, after obtaining the diploma, I decided to make a change in my life by choosing a university focused on the practical study of languages in order to constantly apply the acquired skills and prove myself. ° ° ° I consider myself as an introvert and stubborn, but open-minded person, always willing to exchange views with others, to learn about different cultures and lifestyles, especially by travelling and getting to know new people. I am a full-time freelance translator with a BA in EN-IT translation obtained in 2001 from SSIT School of Milan. I have worked as in-house translator in the architect studio Eliotopia (Milan) for about a year, until I started to focus on my freelance carreer. It still remained one of my main clients throughout the years. I grew up in my family business, an international female, male and children's apparel store, making of fashion one of my specialty fields.
