I am a native of Indonesian writing to apply for the open position of English to Indonesian (vv) and English to Javanese (vv) translator. I hold a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching (ELT) and have worked professionally in the area of education and translation fields for the past five years. I translate in some specializations such as education, engineering, e-learning, e-commerce, IT, travel and tourism. Additionally, I also provide localization, subtitling, and transcription services.

I got my BS in computer science years ago, but then I found my passion in translation field. I've been providing English to Indonesian services (documents/articles/websites translation, proofreading/editing, app localization, subtitling) since 2009. An English student in Indonesia working as a freelance translator in his free time. Upon graduation from Bina Nusantara University in 2009, I directly worked for Business Advisory Indonesia until my resignation in 2015 as an Assistant Managing Editor. From 2016 to 2019, I worked at PT. Legal Centric Indonesia with the last position as the Head of Translation Division. In addition to my formal working experience as a translator/editor, I also provided translation services for some companies and organizations. Together with my friends, I founded ASJ Translation in 2017. I passed the Indonesian Translators’ Qualification Examination held by the Professional Certification Agency of University of Indonesia in 2021 for the English-Indonesian language pair. On 5 October 2022, I took an oath as a sworn translator administered by the Directorate General of Legal Administrative Affairs. I also took the Assessment of Sworn Translators for Professionals in 2022 for the Indonesian-English language pair in order to complete my qualifications.

A passionate linguist with background in IT/Computer Science. More than 9 years experience providing translation for English - Indonesian (Bahasa Indonesia) language pair. I have specialized in IT (Project/Website/Mobile Gaming) field. Worked for major companies, providing translation for various products/platforms. I have interest in sports (non-gambling), marketing, business, religion and movies.

I am graduate from finance degree and love to learn foreign language as my hobby. First time translate a document in 2019 and actively translating a news release from Indonesian to English since 2020.
