I hold a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching (ELT) and have worked professionally in the area of education and translation fields for the past five years. I am M Amir Syarifuddin, I am currently working as a professionally qualified freelance English><Indonesian interpreter and translator with 6 years experience. Upon graduation from Bina Nusantara University in 2009, I directly worked for Business Advisory Indonesia until my resignation in 2015 as an Assistant Managing Editor. Together with my friends, I founded ASJ Translation in 2017. I passed the Indonesian Translators’ Qualification Examination held by the Professional Certification Agency of University of Indonesia in 2021 for the English-Indonesian language pair. On 5 October 2022, I took an oath as a sworn translator administered by the Directorate General of Legal Administrative Affairs. I also took the Assessment of Sworn Translators for Professionals in 2022 for the Indonesian-English language pair in order to complete my qualifications.
