I'm 35 years old, been living and working in France, Australia, Germany and Austria for a couple of years. After having been a restaurant owner for 6 years I decided to come back to what I've been trained for. Language and its application. I have been an English major at the University of Lyon Lumière with 2 semesters abroad in Melbourne, Australia. My name is Julius Schaad, I am a German American freelance translator and language tutor of German and English. I am fluent in Russian and possess basic language skills in French and Farsi. I have a German degree in engineering, which I obtained in 2010. In the same year I started working as a freelance translator (English, German, Russian), and since 2013 I have been teaching English and German as a language tutor in Moscow, Russia. It's amazing to see the different terms and words in another language for the same matter. I started to translate from time to time in 2018, although I have a business and legal background, I've been always busy with languages and translating beside my job as a tax adviser, later on I managed a German-Taiwanese shipping company, all in English of course. I learned Russian in an extended way since my childhood, later on Persian and Turkish (this is the country, where I'm currently living.) I've been working as a tutor (English and German) for 3 years and as a translator (freelance) for a year and a half. I fluently speak English and German. Moreover I can work with the business communication, translating articles on the business topics and so on. I've taken part in different international student exchange programs, particularly in Germany (DAAD Summer courses). I passed there inofficial language tests(TestDaF), which showed my B2-C1 language level.
