I grew up in the Netherlands near the German border, attended a German school, and had friends from Germany, the Netherlands, and Belgium, which allowed me to develop fluency in both German and Dutch. Growing up in Germany with a bilingual background, I fulfilled my dream at the age of 18 and moved to Szekszárd, where I started working as a volunteer in a kindergarten. After acquiring some basic knowledge of Hungarian, I decided to study early childhood education with a bilingual focus in Hungarian. After working in my profession and after my two older children were born, I started translating for MOZAIK, an internationally recognized publisher of school materials. After acquiring basic translation skills, I passed the state-approved Hungarian and German translation exam at ELTE University in Budapest in 2015. I'm a 37 years old native German author and translator. Within the last years I translated websites, newsletters, contracts or other documents and also books. Before this I studied management of media (including a semester abroad in the UK) and began a schooling as an alternative practitioner for animals.
