I'm 35 years old, been living and working in France, Australia, Germany and Austria for a couple of years. After having been a restaurant owner for 6 years I decided to come back to what I've been trained for. Language and its application. I have been an English major at the University of Lyon Lumière with 2 semesters abroad in Melbourne, Australia. In my free time I love to go hiking with my 2 dogs and my wife just as much as traveling around Europe in our van. Other than that I interested in photography, home improvement and any kind of hands-on work.

I finished Moscow State Linguistic University. I have been working as a translator for 2 years and as an English tutor for 4 years. I speak English and German fluently. In 2015 I won a scholarship from DAAD ans studied business German and business English in Düsseldorf.

I was born in Switzerland and at the age of 3 we moved to Slovakia, so I'm proficient in German and Slovak. I have learned and studied the English language for 15 years now, so I'm fluent in it as well. I have worked for multinational companies, which required customer support in English and German on a day to day basis. Looking forward to starting translating. My passion is reading books and learning new stuff.

My name is Julius Schaad, I am a German American freelance translator and language tutor of German and English. I am fluent in Russian and possess basic language skills in French and Farsi. I have a German degree in engineering, which I obtained in 2010. In the same year I started working as a freelance translator (English, German, Russian), and since 2013 I have been teaching English and German as a language tutor in Moscow, Russia. In 2017 I graduated from Moscow State University (MSU) with a degree in International Relations. A year later I completed a summer course at the International TEFL Academy in Chicago, USA where I became a Certified Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL/TESOL Certificate, Level 5). Since October 2018 I have been working as a Project Manager and German editor in a Moscow-based German consulting company. My translation expertise spans over 10 years and numerous industries and topics.

Responsible for handling and translating all kind of documents such as; international development reports, technical and website materials, feasibility and business case studies, medical material and more. Having a special educational preparation and extensive experience in writing articles, essays, literary comments, political researches and technical reports. Moreover, I have worked extensively in the field of subtitling movies, documentaries, TV series, programs ... etc from and into English. What is so important for enhancing one’s expertise is the contact and interaction with so many different fields, through which to gain hands-on experience. I grew up in Germany and have visited my huge American family in the US State Ohio every year for a month, give or take. I have been fluent in English since 1989. I have worked for a medical device producer for over a total of 3 years, translating regulations and processes required by the ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820. I have spent a month going over the new MDSAP guideline. I studied the subjects German and English to teach it at the Gymnasium, which is the equivalent to an academic high school. I will go back to teaching in February, but since I miss working with languages in a more direct way, I want to keep translating different projects. I am also a major modern literature fan and would not mind translating (short) stories, either.

I am an extremely responsible person and possess almost 5 years' experience in the world of translation, during which I have gained excellent mastery of texts and topics in many areas. Foreign languages are my passion, so I am approaching my work in a rigorous and demanding manner. I will be happy to assist you with all your translations!

Thorsten, the owner/consultant, has over 25 years experience working in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Contract Management and Customer Services for large and small (multi)national/multi-site private and public organisations; such as Philips Electronics NV, Dow Chemicals Ltd, Johnson Matthey Catalysts Plc, Local Government, NHS, Ubisoft, CEVA Logistics, Caterpillar, NSK Europe, Avaya and Teleperformance UK. Born and raised in The Netherlands to a Dutch mother and a German father, languages have always been a part of his life. At secondary school also studied French and Spanish, but these are not strong enough to provide translation services for. Moved to the UK in 2000 where his language skills were in great demand by purchasing/supply chain management/procurement/contract management/logistics and customer service departments.

Hi there! My name is Ricardo Marte and I work as a professional translator and photographer. I was born in Austria and lived there until I was 24 years old. When I was 24 I moved to Gent with my Belgian girlfriend. There I graduated with a Master of Science from the University of Ghent (teaching language English). Then I started working for Dutch company as an marketing analyst in the energy market.
