Since 2004 I participated in numerous projects translating and editing complete websites and handbooks for the technical and electronical industry, but also hotel prose. I translated and edited subtitles for several movies and documenteries. Three years I worked as fulltime Siri Data Analyst and Software Tester at Apple European HQ in Cork/Ireland, where I took part in tasks for testing and improving localization and speech recognition coding tools for the Austrian, German, and Swiss market.

As a freelance translator with educational background in IT and physics, I can offer translations specifically in those areas. I've been working as a freelance translator for about two years now and I was able to gather experience in post-MT translation, translation and subtitling. Welcome! Languages are my passion! Translating is so fascinating, because it connects people from different continents and countries. I've been loving languages since my childhood. It's amazing to see the different terms and words in another language for the same matter. I started to translate from time to time in 2018, although I have a business and legal background, I've been always busy with languages and translating beside my job as a tax adviser, later on I managed a German-Taiwanese shipping company, all in English of course. I learned Russian in an extended way since my childhood, later on Persian and Turkish (this is the country, where I'm currently living.) I have a Master's degree in translation and interpreting (German/English/Spanish) and I did two Bachelor's degrees in transcultural communication and Spanish language. Thanks to many stays abroad in the US, Spain, and Latin America I could perfect my English and Spanish skills. Having studied Dutch, International and European (Corporate and Commercial) Law in Maastricht on Master level and being half Dutch I'm able to master the Dutch language on a fairly high level. Also, I have achieved the official language certificate NT2 II which refers to level B2/C1 and is aimed at university level. My English skills are mirrored by two Cambridge Certificates (FCE and CAE which refer to the level B2 and C1) combined with 15/15 points for my Abitur-exam in 2012.
