I'm a versatile translator who can translate websites, articles, blog posts, e-books on just about any topics. I have done so for years for a number of distinctive clients about a plethora of different topics. I'm a French Canadian from the Gaspe Peninsula and grew up speaking both French and English. Therefore, I consider them both as my native languages. Going from one language into the other has literally become second nature to me. I take great pride in providing my clients with a translation that will feel as if it were originally written in the translated language, thus allowing those readers to have the same considerable experience as the ones reading the original document. I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I did all my elementary and secondary education in French and all my university (first and second cycles) in English.

I used to work as researcher in biology. I did my PhD in Paris, followed by a three year postdoc in Germany. Since June 2017, I'm trying to switch career to a language related one. My 6 years experience in an academic setting provided me with expertise not only in theoretical and experimental biology, programming and office software, but also in writing and proofreading scientific articles in both English and French.

I am currently enrolled in a Multilingual Master in Psycho- and Neurolinguistics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB). I studied French, Latin and English language and literature at the University of Leuven (KU Leuven). I also have studied medicine at the University of Liège (ULiège).
