I'm a French Canadian translator with a strong professional background in public relations, communications, marketing and customer service, more particularly in the fields of: arts and culture, sports and tourism. Originally from Montreal, I learned English while living in Toronto. My passion for languages and cultural discoveries later took me to beautiful Costa Rica, where I am now based.

I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari. I graduated with the highest grade (110 e lode) and started my specialisation at the University of Turin (a Translation course focusing on literary translation). I work from both English and French and I am fond of literature: novels, poetry, theatre are my highest aims.

I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love. Since that moment translating has become my main activity, working as a freelance translator with agencies and private clients ever since. In this globalized world, when connections are very important in every field, whether we talk about business, travel, private life or medical issue, I feel that translators are that bridge that allow people to get where they need or where they want. The diversity of documents and fields that I have the opportunity to work with as a translator make me appreciate the challenges and enrich my knowledge. I have a Bachelor Degree in Information and Communication studies and a Masters in Film Analysis and Scriptwriting.
