I'm a bilingual English/French, multi-skilled down to earth person, reliable & talented translator with a proven ability to translate written documents from a source language to a target language with a wide experience in editing, proofreading, subtitling and transcription services. I have more than 4 years of experience in Communication & Marketing and over 10 years of experience as a Freelance Translator/Interpreter and proofreader. I have worked on several projects for renowned organizations such as Humedica, Mercy Ships, MTN and National Geographic. I am passionate about the English language and translation. In 2008, while I was sophomore, I was nominated for the Best English Speaker award of my University and received books with the congratulations of the US Embassy of Benin. I am a professional translator since 2012. I grew up in France in a Spanish family, so I learned very early both languages. I studied law in France and Spain so I can translate to both languages. I am a sworn translator before the Tribunal Judiciaire of Perpignan and often perform translations and interpretations for this institution in the legal field (hearings, confrontations, reports, court decisions etc ..) I hold a MSc in Computer Science, Electrical engineering and Telecommunications from a leading French university and have worked for the last 15 years in various technological areas, including Cloud-based technologies (Amazon AWS, Salesforce.com), electronics, GPS and satellite software and hardware development. Freelancing gives me more time with my wife and three young boys and the flexibility to explore the world. It also allows me to work with people from all over the world and from different backgrounds. I have lived and worked (on location) in France, the Netherlands, Japan, UK, New Zealand, and New York, and am fully trilingual in English, French and Japanese and conversant in Spanish. I'm passionate about helping humanity and improving the communities I live in.
