Already while studying my bachelor and Master's degree in translation, I got a few translation projects, mainly in the field of audiovisual translation. After my graduation, I started to profile as a literary translator + a translator of (popular) science books. Other than literary and audiovisiaul translation, I have experience with translating various manuals/handbooks and general texts. I work as translator since 2008. My daily capacity is approx 2,000 - 3,000 words for translation, resp. 5,000 words for proofreading. It depends on the text. During my translation career I have worked with user manuals, technical documents, financial statements, computer games, marketing materials like PR, HR documens, leaflets, surveys, web pages, sport interviews, personal letters, books, travel guides etc... I do not translate natural sciences like physics, chemistry and law.

Currently based in Czechia. Since I was a teenager I have mediated between two cultures and it became my job. I have the advantage of being bilingual (Czech&Russian).
