English is my second language but half of my family is German. Since I do not speak fluent German, we communicate in English since my childhood. I am very confident in speaking, writing and reading. I consider myself bilingual.

I have been translating since 2013, focusing mainly on texts of technological nature and promotional materials, e.g. manuals, software and all kinds of general commerce-related texts. Apart from this main focus I also translate various general and literary texts, games, video subtitles (Amara). My name is Lada Zahlavova and I was born on 5th January 1981 in The Czech Republic. Languages have been my passion since the very childhood and so has been also biology and writing.
