I remember my first job as an in-house translator as a very exciting experience. It was, no more and no less, in the translation department of the Organising Committee of the Olympic Games in Barcelona, in 1988. After the Games, I founded a translation agency in Barcelona. I was in charge of managing bilingual and multilingual translation projects, from finding the right translators to quality control. Ten years later, I set out to fulfil an old dream, that of becoming a freelance translator.What I have been doing for 18 years now, to my great pleasure and success... and above all to the satisfaction of my clients, who appreciate the quality of my work and my sense of responsibility for meeting their requirements, starting with the deadlines, of course.
