I would have loved to become an archaeologist. History, travel, ancient languages and working in the field decrypting hidden messages. And though I ended up as a localization professional, I always think that there is some type of archaeology in what I do. In the business world, each culture, each part of the world requires an unique message and my job is to find the right message to help companies grow. My university background is in the translation and localization field, but after working for several companies, I realized that marketing and the digital world were also going to be part of my job. So I decided to add those two specialties to my education. I also recently completed my MBA studies and an executive program in Digital Team management from IESE. When not typing on my laptop, or attending zoom calls, I enjoy spending time with my family and doing CrossFit. I also take a solo trip every year to destinations filled with history: Armenia, Uzbekistan, Georgia... I speak English, Spanish, German and a little bit of Portuguese. I took classes of Russian and French for a year, but I was probably too optimistic about my capabilities.
