Established and leading the US operations of Supertext, a creative localization and copywriting company. Helping companies reach global audiences through culturally relevant messaging and efficient localization processes. I grew up in the UK, US and Japan, and studied at the London School of Economics before making a move to Berlin, Germany. After a decade of working as a copywriter and translator, I joined Supertext, a startup in Zurich, Switzerland. In 2016, I spearheaded Supertext's expansion to the US. From Santa Monica, California, I work with global brands, unicorn start-ups, marketing agencies, and more to creatively adapt products and campaigns for international markets. My experience in international marketing has given me a distinct understanding of how localization can drive global strategy and growth. I love creating agile, flexible solutions that enables our clients and my team to focus on the important stuff: creating multilingual content that truly resonates. Writing is one of my great passions. I enjoy playing with words and the cultural aspects of translation. Having grown up immersed in two cultures and languages, and now watching my kids grow up with three, I’ve learnt a great deal about the importance of communication and the pitfalls of messages getting lost in translation. It’s a challenge that never ceases to fascinate me.
