I am a native Hungarian, a US citizen living in the US with more, than 25 years of experience in translation.
I have started to translate as a student. During the subsequent decades I either actively worked as translator, or used the English language regularly. I translate and proofread accurately, and with attention to the spirit of the source text.
Living in the US for 24 years has polished my English to a bilingual level.
I write, read, blog, chat using both languages on a daily basis.

I have had the privilege to spend some of my teenage years abroad and have been called to interpret for many of my friends already then. It has been much later that I started doing this as a profession but it's needless to say that translations and interpreting is second nature to me.
My real love is for interpreting as I love to act out whatever role the speaker gives me. I can do that for 8 hours all alone in a booth and at the end I might be exhausted but mentally I'm still fresh.
I have been working as a freelance interpreter and translator for 20 years now. Mediation between cultures and business partners is my passion. I love to discover new terminologies and venues. I always try to find the best linguistic solutions and respect deadlines. I am looking forward to our cooperation.
For the past year, I worked as a translator for a trading platform operating in several EU countries, prior to that, I had the opportunity to test my abilities at positions with Czech, Hungarian and English language in the travel industry, working several years as an aviation analyst at Brno Airport and Customer Service representative at Invia.cz and Invia.hu tour operators.
My main profession is music, currently studying at the Liszt Academy in Budapest, Hungary.
I will be most happy to translate from English to Czech or Hungarian, both languages I speak as a native speaker, thanks to my Czech Mother and Hungarian Father, and my long-time commuting between Czechia and Hungary.
I'm a native Hungarian, with English as my second language. I started to
learn English at a very young age, and quickly became natural at it.
Living in the UK for over 4 years polished my translation skills. I've been
undertaking freelance translations on various platforms since 2014. Over the
years I worked on a variety of projects ranging from marketing to technology,
entertainment and more.
I'm a native Hungarian speaker, and I currently live and work in Hungary, in small village. I work as a teacher in the local school, I have my degree in History and Hungarian language and literature. During 2015-2017 I was working as a freelance writer and translator. I am a Canadian-Hungarian translator, interpreter and I am in love with languages since I can remember. :) I love everything that requires creativity, I think that's why I am creating logos in my free time. Just like designing graphics, translation is an art for me, and I love to be creative in my work. Depending on the content, I would like my translations to be entertaining and 'colorful'. :) If you'd like to see something outside of the box, you are in the right place. :)
I'm a Hungarian high school student that played video games in english (a lot :D!) his whole life, and always excelled at english in school. I have talked to many native (and non-native) english speakers aswell, and we always had a blast! I love creative work, and am very good at writing literature (poems, tales, stories)! I'm young with a young mindset, I listen to music while translating, which makes it much more fun, so I don't fall into the trap of procrastination , meaning I complete translations closer to the deadlines!
Középiskolás diák vagyok aki egész életében videójátékokat játszott angolul (Sokat ! :D), és az iskolában mindig kiemelkedő volt angolból. Számos angolul beszéő személlyel beszélgettem, nagyrészt angol anyanyelvűekkel, és mindig nagyon jól szórakoztunk! Szeretem a kreatív munkát, tehetséges vagyok irodalmi művek írásában (versek, mesék, történetek)! Fiatal vagyok fiatal gondolkodással, zenét hallgatva fordítok ennek köszönhetően jól szórakozok és időben végzek!
I started to work in the translation business in 1990. I did work on the localization of WordPerfect, Windows '95 and also Scala, Oracle, Citroën, SAP, APC and many other translation/localization projects. I have also worked for Hungarian ministries and financial institutions, and I was involved in the translation of many EU-related documents (tender specifications and application forms), business contracts, financial statements (Balance Sheets, ProfitLoss Statements, Audit Reports etc.) as well as operating and maintenance manuals of various equipment, Civil Engineering specifications, software descriptions, application documentation for medicines etc.
Bilingual: Romanian and Hungarian speaker, English being my favorite foreign language, and speaking Spanish at an intermediate level.
Dynamic and adaptable translator, good with handling words and expressions of all sorts, especially in the fluently spoken languages which are: Romanian, Hungarian and English.
For me translation is something that I really enjoy doing and would like to do more of it.
During the years spent in corporate environment I provided financial, accounting and taxation consultancy services to many clients and had the chance to experience the importance of communication. I realized it was the English language that inspired me, so I decided to devote my full working time to it. I was equally interested in oral and written communication but finally the balance tipped in favour of the latter. Now I primarily deal with translating texts in the field of electromobility and economics in English-Hungarian language pair. If you need a translator, please feel free to contact me.
